I also see other pieces of spam mail with sender addresses very similar to but slightly different than mine. But it's especially alarming to see my very own address as the sender address trying to sell me swiss watches!
When I check my bulk mail, I've noticed my own email address is sending me spam. Is my computer infected?
Email spoofing is the forgery of an email header, so that it appears to have come from someone other than the original source---{which is a spamming machine that automatically runs through addresses at random}.
Most spoofed mail falls into the "nuisance" category, and requires little action other than deletion.
ONE SUCH type that is called "self-sending spam", involves messages that appear to be both--From and To--the same recipient.
Some can, however, be malicious, by spoofing a person or organization of authority and asking for sensitive data or info.
Just delete them if they come to your inbox---ignore them if they come to your bulk folder (Yahoo will delete them at a preset time)
Reply:I never open bulk mail its usually spam. go to mail options and change your privacy setting on there. spam mail usually does use our email address that so you will open your mail if I were you just have your bulk mail send to spam.
