I think my boyfriend may have opened an alternate account to hide things from me. Is there any way i can know this for sure? He would never tell me on his own, so i really need this info.

You can by spyware and install it on his computer. It will record his every keystroke. You should be able to find a package by googling "Keystroke logger". If he finds it, your romance is over, of course.
Beyond that, no. If he is conducting a hot on-line romance as "Stud_Muffin_1006" from his work computer, his buddy's computer or the public library, you won't be able to tell.
Sounds like you need a new boyfrend, by the way. I'm married and 40 years older than you, so that isn't an offer, just an observation.
