Email addresses not pulling from my address book?

when I compose an email and start to type in the beginning of the receivers email address, the possible matches do not show up from my address book. Usually a list pops up and I can choose the email address that I want to populate the TO: field.

Email addresses not pulling from my address book?
There used to be an option to enable or disable Auto Complete (in general preferences)---but Yahoo removed that option, during the recent update of the original mail page,---because they made Auto Complete the default.

Mine still works fine.

HOWEVER, Auto Complete must be enabled in your Internet Explorer for it to work in web mail as the default.

Try this.

Click Tools%26gt;%26gt;then click Internet Options.

In the dialog box that opens, click the "content" tab (across the top). At the bottom, click the "auto complete" tab, and another little box opens. Be sure the "web addresses" box is checked---and any thing else you feel that's necessary---and "apply and ok".

That feature should now work in your Yahoo.

Reply:The Auto Complete feature is no longer an option.

Try this in Yahoo:

After you click on Compose or Forward to open the message window, click on "To" to open your address book which is set up only for emailing.

Check the boxes (TO, BC or BCC) next to the contacts you wish to send to, go to the top of the list and click "Insert Checked Contacts." The addresses you selected will be in the fields you selected and the address book will close.
