Your email address is not shown to prospective buyers and all contact is via ebay's system.
How do you hide your email address from buyers on Ebay?
It's a pain when winning bidders get your address aint it? get yourself a secondary branching email address and use that one for ebay. You can do it from your mail settings on your inbox.
Pick any old name like bobbynuts and then you can use "bobbynuts-ebay@....... "bobbynuts-amazon@" "bobbynuts-pokersite@" etc
If you get problems with one of the addresses you can delete it no probs.
Just make sure you change the paypal address for payment if you use it or your account wont recognise it
Reply:The best bet is to create a throwaway email account that you can use on eBay and only use it for that site instead of using your primary email address. That way if you have problems or too much spam, you can simply delete it without losing anything.
