I have a friend who hasn't had Internet acess to open his mail box for about 3 months . he is In the process of reconnecting . wiill he need to start agin with a new account?
How long will a yahoo email address stay open without use?
No - he will still be able to use that account. I've had an account inactive for longer than that and was able to go back to using it when I was ready to.
Reply:It's about three months now. I had an address which I hadn't used for three months and when I tried to use it again I was told that the account had been closed but that I could reactivate it but will have lost all the emails that I had with the original account.
Reply:Yes he will have to start again it is usually three months without use that they cancel it

Reply:90 Days - but you do not loose your Yahoo User Name - you just have to activate the e-mail again.
